The S80 is a 5 crew one design keelboat that is very well suited to the waters of Port Phillip with exciting downwnd surfing capabilities. Victorian Class Championships attract around 20 entries and with an IRC rating of just under 0.900, the S80  fleet also  performs strongly in mixed fleet events. Victorian Championships 9,10 & 11 January 2010 It came down to the last gybe of the last race in 43 degree heat to determine the 2010 Victorian Champion. In a race where the lead changed several times, Gary MacKinven on Up 'n Go re-gained the lead 200 metres before the finish to take a 6 second race victory ahead of Intrusion (Luke Reinehr) and win the 7 race series on a count back.    FINALLY A LINK TO STATE CHAMPIONSHIP 2010 PHOTOS!!!!
